Tuesday night at 7:30pm at Dixie.

Good matchup and test for the Birds to see where they stand against the Colonels.

Towles vs Pike should be a nice matchup on the block. I look for Stansberry to probably defend Stewart. Dean will have his hands full with Trammell and I look for 6'3 Crowley to probably get the task of holding Hatton down.

Anything is possible if Dixie plays like they did against Colerain Saturday.

I think the Colonels get it together though and win by a comfortable margin.

Dixie- 64

Highlands- 50

Guard play will be the difference. Highlands will have an awful tough time with Hatton.

I didn't think Dixie played that bad against Colerain. Colerain is a very athletic team that pressed Dixie the entire game and played a pretty good 3-2 zone which forced Dixie to shoot outside. Dixie struggled at the free throw line or the spread would have looked much differently. Kudos to Dixie

who are now 5-0, this could be their year!

Objectively speaking, I see the Colonels' guard play being the difference in this game. Highlands' bigs will likely neutralize Dixie's bigs. Dixie wins 56-48.

Dixie will win this one rather easily. There is no one on HHS that can stop Hatton..This kid is a scoring machine..

Coach Chevy and the guys by 15.

I disagree man, he is a good player but not unstoppable. It really depends on Crowley's health because he played excellent defense against St. Henry and with his length he could cause Hatton problems. I know Crowley denied the ball real well on inbound plays and also in the halfcourt set. I definitely think the Birds should go man-man and press in this one to possibly create some turnovers and easy baskets.

If Hatton is allowed to shoot he will make most and score a lot so the key is keeping him at 14pts or less.

Yea, I heard some crazy stuff about when Pike's parents approached the school about holding him back late in the game. Oh brother is all I can say.

Q - I know you've brought up the (Frosh) True in a few of your threads. Is he seeing much varsity floor time?
