Who do you think will 6A in NKY this year and why?

Of course I think SK will win it and make it to state. This year they will have something they didn't last year a good O-Line and a running game.

Ryle or Dixie based on skill players.

Dixie

Ryle

SK

Conner

Campbell

Boone

Rick's last year at Boone. Dixie will thrive in the 6A alignment without having to play Highlands and next door neighbor CovCath in season and in the playoffs.

All of this in spite of the team in Independance w/ a D-1 prospect at every position.

1. Dixie

2. Ryle

3. Simon Kenton

4. Campbell Co.

5. Conner

6. Boone Co.

Not sure why Conner is mentioned in this thread. While those other teams are battling it out in 6A, Conner will be marching to the playoffs in 5A. Probably will happen more since everyone is not completely up to speed on the off season realignments.

Dixie and Ryle have the marquee players in Pike, Cohorn, Bruns and Elliott. SK should have a solid defense but the offense will have to replace a load of skills.

Hard not to give the nod to Dixie at this point.

I really don't know what Ryle has returning up front, or what's in the O-line pipeline. With a good line, their style of play and Elliot put them right in the mix.

I've seen Boone picked last several times. Are the Rebels that down, or are these more "no confidence" type predictions toward the coaching staff?

For kicks in June, I'll go:

Dixie

Ryle

Simon Kenton

Boone County

Campbell County

Wow for someone as smart as you I thought you would know Conner is 5A all you have to do is look at the poll. Guess you don't know that much about football SK will win it all!

Ryle and Dixie both return a couple star players but SK returns some really good players. Pinkleton, Powell, Stephens, Webb, Swanson, Mills, Bowling, Racke, Patrick, Schneider and a bunch of other quality players plus the O-line is huge and athletic.

Dixie had the super star last year and couldn't win that many games I don't see them being that good this year. I think Ryle lost to much to be the top team.

You are so funny. You should do stand up. Ryle and Dixie have superstars but no good players like SK. I think SK goes 15-0 and wins state even though their coach wouldn't schedule Highlands because he doesn't have to, his words not mine.

He knows enough about football to NOT put SK on top , that's all he needs to know !
