Barnes and Sullinger were guaranteed top 3 or 4 picks if not likely to go 1 and 2 overall.

If You Believe OK State Should Be Playing LSU...
CatsCatsCats replied to Clyde's topic in College Football
Did the computers not rank OSU ahead of Bama? Without a playoff or a head to head meeting there is no way to know for certain that Bama is better than OSU. That's not opinion, it is fact. Playing the guessing game or assuming does nothing. I believe that Bama is better than OSU but to make a blanket statement that they are definitely better even though they haven't played each other is impossible. To say the BCS definitely got it right is impossible, even if OSU loses and Alabama wins. -
Is MKG a for sure 1 and done? His talent and game says no, but he seems like the kind of kid that may want another year under Cal. I haven't read anything like that, just judging from how he seems off and on the court.
-
MKG is quickly becoming my favorite Cal recruit.
-
Most hilarious thing I think I've ever read on here. I :lol:ed big time on that one.

How good is Peyton Manning's arm? Brady's doesn't seem great even though I think he's the best deep ball passer of all-time. Dalton is not in their class, at least right now but I think as a rookie he's been promising. Its not like he's throwing a record number of pick-sixes or anything.

Cincinnati @ Houston Predictions

Bengals could not have asked for a better first round game. Experience may end up killing them, but I do believe they have a good shot at winning. -

What has been Boogie's problem? Just doesn't like Westphal? -
Have you seen Notre Dame's schedule next year? Yikes.

If you have the #3 pick in the draft how do you not draft MKG? He's going to be a stud in the pros IMO. Doesn't have the ceiling Davis or Barnes have, but he's definitely going to be good.

Rubio may be the best passer in the NBA. His vision is off the charts. When he learns every pass doesn't have to be flashy he's going to really be the goods IMO. Could possibly pass Aldridge and Cousins as my 2nd favorite player in the NBA. -
Why Were We Wrong About Cam Newton?
CatsCatsCats replied to Clyde's topic in National Football League (NFL)
I did not think Newton would be this good already. I've long been of the mindset that the NFL is adapting to the spread and spread QBs can have success in this league. How often are Green Bay, New Orleans or New England in the shotgun with 3 and four WRs? I do remember the conversation about spread QBs not being able to play in the NFL. My response has always been that the current spread has not been around that long. You can use guys like Newton, Bradford, Dalton, Tebow, etc. that have played in the spread if you play to their strengths IMO. These guys still need to learn the under center full field read game of the NFL. As far as physical tools, Newton may be the most gifted to play the position. Strong arm, big guy, quick feet, elusive. I think we may look back at this draft and think Newton was the most underrated number 1 pick of all-time. -

I could see that. Aldridge and Co have to continue to grow. They could also use to add another big body at some point. -

Knicks need someone in the backcourt. -
I'm probably somewhat OCD. 1. I count everything, usually in multiples of four. Floor tiles, mile markers, etc. 2. I'm constantly checking to make sure that I have everything I need, beyond what an average person does. I check the iron multiple times after I turn it off, I pull everything out of my pockets a few times before I leave, I wake up during the night multiple times to see that I have set my two alarms correctly. 3. I get on our HC's nerves because I'm constantly checking to see that we have everything. Our schedules, call sheets, depth charts, etc. are but into my sheet protectors in multiples. Others: -I'm somewhat social, but I have to eat my lunch alone at school. Love that time in my room to myself, I get alot of work done, tests graded. -I hate to have a conversation via text message. Just call if you need to talk. Texting is for quick stuff IMO.

I do these 3. Especially the closet door closed.

I agree. They deserve mention with the top 3 IMO. They will be scary by years end. -

We're talking about HOFers. Mark Jackson is not. Isaiah was an awful coach and worse front office guy. McHale was not successful long-term. Larry Bird did not coach for very long but did get to a finals with a very goood team. Not great examples for Jackson to follow but all three were way more deserving than MJ. What is Monta Ellis going to say when Jack says "Hand down man down?" -

Sorry . But that makes me not like him. Why did he feel so entitled that he would even try for an NBA job? Its not like he was Michcael Jordan or Peyton Manning. People think the league didn't change after the lockout, but the average NBA fan didn't either (no one on here that I know of). WHo would support the Mark Jackson of the real world? If any of us had worked for years to get a promotion, been part ofsuper productive things for our company, school, branch etc. and then got passed over for a kid that just got out of college with straight As we'd be furious. The NBA is suppose to be the best league in the world, but a horrible NBA analyst earned the right to be a coach? I don't care if he's good or not, he did nothing to earn his job but plead for one of TV while other guys worked hard. Kareem was even an NBA assistant but Mark Jackson is too good to be one? -

People would be outraged if an NFL team hired a guy with no experience to be a HC. If Bruschi was hired by a team this off-season people would say no way. It is a slap in the face to the coaches in the NBA that a guy that hasn't even coached a pee-wee team got a job IMO. No wonder the NBA is a joke. -

I really like Love but with those numbers a team shouldn't lose. I've always thought he was more of a stats monster rather than dominating a game. If I'm Minny I try to find out ASAP if Williams can be a star and if so I try to get Beasley's value as high as it can get. Minny needs a true Center in the worst way.
