Wow. I was not expecting that. Hate to hear that for RC, hope they can get another really good coach. Best of luck to Coach Brown though, he did a wonderful job at Rowan IMO. I'm sure he will be successful where ever he goes.

Rumor has it the Kyle Singleton, current assistant head coach, will take over as the head coach.

Best of luck to Coach Brown , and Rowan wont miss a beat if Coach Singleton is the Head Man.....

Good luck to Coach Brown. He did a great job at Rowan. it was alot of fun to compete against his teams. They were very well-coached and prepared. He is a good friend and I am happy for him and this opportunity.

There will be a press conference Monday to annouce the new head coach.

I echo what you said. Rowan has had a nice run on talent but he did a great job coaching them. In that past that hasn't been a real easy job. He and his staff always had their kids prepared and were tough to deal with!

I'm guessing an internal hire?

Everything I hear is that it will be an internal hire. WKYT annouced tonight that the press conference is scheduled for 10:00am Monday.

Best of Luck to Coach Brown......
