  1. Egypt if not for their political situation. Other than that Greece or Italy.
  2. By playing those two, defense would be a problem for them.
  3. I don't think it would be. Scola struggles against bigger guys and he's not really someone you can give the ball to and say "Go to work". Maybe he would be a good fit with Bynum though. And Martin is ranked among the worst defenders in the league. I think he's the David Lee of wing players, good stats bad teams.
  4. My only problem with that is I never thought Wall was selfish in college. If anything he was too unselfish. What you see from him now is a product of what they have on their roster.
  5. Do people see Hank Aaron as being better than Babe Ruth? Case closed. The fact that Kobe had more points will not factor in for the majority of people a long time from now, now, 10 years now, 600 years from now IMO. It certainly hasn't helped Kareem in regards to MJ or Karl Malone for that matter.
  6. Anyone other than Davis getting the POY is a crock and a shame. What would his numbers be on Kansas?
  7. Why would they rebuild by getting rid of their only really good young piece who has a very good contract. You Laker guys kill me when it comes to reasonable trades. That would be an awful move for Boston.
  8. In 200 years they'll feel exactly the same way. They'll be able to watch the games same as we are now. Its not like having to compare Babe Ruth to Albert Pujols where all we can really do is look at the numbers. Do you think somewhere between now and 2212 they'll lose the game film? By then will either player even be relevant in the all-time best player discussion? Historically speaking they'll probably go on legend, so they'll most likely place Jordan further ahead of Kobe than we currently do now.
  9. Worst case IMO is that if Wall had a supporting cast he'd atleast be Rajon Rondo.
  10. I see no way that the general NBA following crowd will ever think Kobe is even MJ's equal let alone better. He may end up being thought of as the 2nd best to ever play, which I think is unlikely, but I don't see what he could do to pass Jordan. I don't care if he gets to 10 titles. MJ won 6 titles (should/would have been 8) without a dominant post player. Who else has won multiple without one? Jordan has 10 scoring titles, a handful of MVPs, and once he got it figured out never was taken out in the playoffs (I'm not counting the Wizards years, no one should). Kobe should and will be mentioned with the other mega-greats of the game and will be ranked somewhere from 2nd-10th according to who ever is doing the rankings.
  11. I agree. If you put Wall with some real players he'd do really well. He shoots a low percentage because he has to score for them to win games. That is not his game, nor does it seem like he wants it to be.
  12. Magic wasn't better than Bird? Come on now. I'm a big Big O fan, but Magic was better IMO. My top 5 looks like this: MJ, Wilt, Magic, Russell, with a tie at 5 between Kobe, the Big O, Kareem and Larry Legend.
  13. Those stats lead me to believe that its not even close and its Magic. Tough to compare across positions in the NBA tough. PFs and Cs can be compared and wings can be compared be it the 2 or the 3, but PG numbers look nothing like SGs numbers.
  14. Pro Sports, College football, College basketball, general discussion, then high school football.
  15. Super Bowl XXX. Cowboys and Steelers. I was for the Boys, I was a huge Playmaker fan.
  16. Maybe I'm crazy, but I'd go for neither.
  17. No chance that happens IMO. Why would Dwight listen to Kobe? Wouldn't he have to be sold on the idea that the Lakers are his team? Getting Dwight Howard would be the first step in seeing Kobe play his last 4 or 5 years in other colors than Purple and GOld.
  18. And you want him to go to the Lakers? He's like the post-LA Shaq, only without the titles and much younger.
  19. Has anyone ever loved throwing the bomb more than Cam Newton? He must have averaged 50 yards a completion this year.
  20. Dwight continues to puzzle. I've often said he can have the least dominant big stat line of anyone I've ever seen but this has been ridiculous. Send him to the Lakers so he can get exposed as the most overrated player of this era.
