Randy Parker
Final. Tops trailed by 17 with 5:51 left in regulation & stormed back to earn an improbable victory. Taveion Hollingsworth poured in 43 points to lead WKU.
Getslow
I got to see the entire second half and OT in this one. WKU was down at halftime but came firing back after the break and got it to within three before falling behind by 17. They looked absolutely dead in the water. For most of the second half they looked a step slower than Tech and couldn't hit a shot to save their lives. Then Hollingsworth took over -- one of three former Kentucky Mr. Basketball selections currently playing for the Hilltoppers. He sealed the comeback by hitting (I think) three jumpers in the final minute -- including the tying three with 2.5 seconds left. At North Texas on Sunday with the winner in the drivers' seat to win the league and get that No. 1 seed in the C-USA tournament (and an automatic NIT bid if that league tournament doesn't go so great). DanvilleFan
I want to win the league to get the NIT bid if nothing else. It'd also be great to get the #1 seed and avoid North Texas and LA Tech.
