How long did it take you to be "addicted" to BGP?

I don't know how long, but I seem to remember the post that drew me in and never let me go was one someone made about Trinity recruiting players, having dorms to house them in, etc. That was my first 'punch 'em in the face with words' post.

I feel like I didn't get "addicted" for about 4 years. I was usually very active during the high school seasons but I would take long hiatuses in between. When I started checking in the General Discussion and College Sports forums more, that's when BGP became a multiple times a day thing.

I joined in August my son's Sophomore year at Male. Once I saw the fun I could have with the X/Rocks people, and the college football teams, I was hooked. But reading and studying Bible issues with others makes it a year round "Addiction".

About 1 week. The 1st Friday night did it for me.

I'd say it took me about a couple of weeks. This coming August will mark my 11th year on BGP.

Addiction was at least within the first week. But it became borderline obsessive (meaning I'm on it every single day & posting at a much heavier rate) after interacting more on Gen. Discussion & P&R.

For me it was the first time I type http://www.bluegraspreps.com. I read in the local newspaper about a site for high school sports, at Bluegrasspreps.com. Got on line and have been ever since. My 10 year anniversay is coming up this summer.
