Do not forget about Carson Haas. His dad and both uncles all played for the Blue&White. Carson will have to decide if he is really serious about this football thing. He has the size already as a 8th grader. I think he is around 6'-1"-6'-2"ish and has some pretty good weight on him. The frosh off season workout should push most of these kids to get stronger.....

Uhhhh Mitchell Cain is probably the 1st skilled player in that bloodline.....LOL!!!

Keep an eye on a kid who is a current 7th grader and a big boy, Trey King. The kid is working out with the boys in 60 minutes and has great potential. His shoe size is a 13 already I believe. A very quiet kid and a genius in the classroom who if he can develop some nastiness can be a bigtime offensive lineman in the future.

I know last year NewCath and Highlands were on the PBS field together being honored before the start of the last home game. Don't know about this year.

Highlands 2011 state championship team was recognized on the field by the Bengals (along with the Holy Cross state championship team) at their December 24 game against the Arizona Cardinals. I am pretty sure the Bengals have hosted and recognized the past 5 state championship teams from Highlands. I am certain they have the last 3 years.

 

The Highlands football banquet is Sunday, January 29 and I understand they will have a season highlight video (that usually is unveiled/played for the first time at the banquet I believe).
