Wouldn't it be Boyle then Scott Co.? Last year we played Boyle first then Dixie. Or did Scott Co. only have an opening during week zero and Boyle agree to move the game against Highlands to week one?

Hey Bagger could you post the entire schedule for us?

I was told by someone in the know that they are expecting to have upwards of 90 kids this year for the JV and Varsity and somewhere around 60 for the frosh team. Where are all of these kids coming from? That is quite a big roster for a school the size of Highlands.

60 for the frosh??? If true that's over a third of the boys in the high school for the total and about 2/3 of the freshmen.

Well, now that spring football has wrapped up for Highlands, how did things look for the 'Birds? Any surprises? I had read in a previous interview with Coach Mueller that maybe some offensive players were going to be moved over to play defense this year. Any ideas on who would be moving to the defensive side this year? Feel free to PM me if it's "exclusive" info! I promise I won't tell...

Hard to tell still. But one great surprise was the young Bardo back on the football field from the golf course. Good for him and his family.

With so many kids playing baseball, it's hard to really get a feel for the anticipated starting team, but overall, look as good as expected.

I believe there been a bit of an increase of Ft. Thomas kids attending HHS instead of NewCath, this has certainly increased their numbers over the last few yrs.

 

I can name some kids playing for the Birds instead of the Breds which has not been the case of yrs past. Iam sure its all about economics......................

Heard positive comments abt many...Kraft, A.Abner, Bardo to mention a few...

Does anyone know anything about the incoming freshman? They seem deep at the skilled positions but thin on the line.

What about the highlands defense for 2012? Was watching practice the other night and Heck and Murray both look good. Heck has bulked up and looks good on his feet in the cornerback position.
