Not me brother. Just messin around, though in the past, spring break was a sticking point for seniors.

So what time does the Football team practice tonight? Anybody....

 

I'm guessing , but I'm going to say around 4 to 6. Give or take a half hour hear or there. I think they only get 2 hours to practice.

Do you know the names of the frosh baseball players?

 

Here are the few that I know of: Hennigan, Whitford and Jones have given up football for baseball. Abner, Murray, Orne, Veneman, Gallichio, Noe and Heck are a few of the ones I know are playing baseball.

Both John Abner and Andrew Abner are not playing baseball. Football only!

Yes, the older Whitford is a big lineman. His younger brother is a shortstop on the baseball team.. I am not sure if the younger brother is going to play football this year..

That is all? Somewhat disappointing I guess for Coach Baioni.

 

If the three classes in front of them are any guide, some of those 8th graders who chose not to come out for baseball this year will come out as freshman. Not sure why they do this, but my guess is that as middle schoolers, they might be a little intimidated stepping into a high school team.

 

The current soph class has one very good baseball player who didn't come out until his frosh year, and has actually picked up a couple more kids this season who sat out their middle school & frosh years.

Man, every time there's a thread about Highlands football it always gets turned into a baseball thread.

So two days are in the books and there is no chatter as to how things are going? How is the offense shaping up and who is going to be stepping in to the big shoes voided on defense? Has anyone changed positions from last year?

As far as the Offense goes, its :sssh: Burners and playmakers........

 

Defense will be similar to the 20n10 Nasty Birds. Some really not so nice guys when they hit the football field, sorta play with an attitude.

Guys like Cochran, Schutte, Wrobleski are some names that come to mind that know what it takes to keep teams from scoring more points then your offense does.

 

Birds are simply reloading.................Oh, and if you are an O-Line kinda guy, well lets just say athletic and BIG!!!!!!

Any soph's to be have a chance to see significant varsity minutes?
