IU earned that one. Great game to watch, but poorly executed by the Cats.

Typical JC team can't hit FT down stretch.

That typical Calipari team you talked about made huge free throws last year including the NCAA tournament. Its just always easier to remember the times they miss though.

Teague absolutely gave the foul after the last in bounds play. Shouldn't have been surprised the refs didn't call it though.

Great effort by (some of) the Cats to come back. The great thing about college basketball is that it won't matter in the end.

On another topic, WHY is UK SOOOO bad guarding the 3? Do they just not pick guys up far enough out?

They weren't going to go undefeated this season but this isn't the game I wanted them to lose. I just hope they are not like last years team and lose everything on the road. I liked the way they fought back and got back into a position to win the game, something they had no business doing, but still tough one to take. Other than MKG, Lamb, and Teague in second half just not a lot of intensity from UK. On the otherhand IU was up for the game. That was the biggest difference IMO, you have to show up.

Gonna be a good learning experience for this team. Make your free throws and they don't even have a chance.

UK showed a lot of grit, well most of the team anyway, in the second half in a very tough environment. Like many have mentioned, lack of execution defensively and at the foul line cost them the game.

Sadly, on a day when #1 & #2 both go down, the lead story on Sportscenter is the thuggery of UC/XU.

Only one in the 49 people that predicted this game to pick Indiana......just a little off on the score....Jones is a lazy, overrated player with an attitude!!!

I don't think you can leave out Millers play in the second half. He in the first half like Teague played poorly, but both in the second half played really well and made big shots to get them in position to have a chance to win.

Congrats to IU on a big win.

For UK it was a good loss. This young talented team will learn a lot for this loss.

T. JOnes will be back for his Jr. and Sr. seasons. If I was Coach Cal I would have made him stay out and watch that celebration. Your stud can't put up a performance like that.

UK played horrible. Whatever it happens.

We had not seen the Jones from last year until this game. So lets not act like this is an everytime thing with him, last year it happened a lot. This is the first time this year, and hopefully it will be the only time. Sitting out the final 6 minutes of a game especially in crunch time hopefully will get him back on the right track again.

Great idea!
Agreed with everything you said except saying it was a bad idea for them to give the ball to Davis. UK was getting close the the 10 second count at that point, they had to get it across half court and that is just the guy they had to give it to.

IU tried to foul a couple of times before Davis got the ball.

Congrats to IU on a big win.

Typical over reactions from people again. Yes Jones sucked today plain and simple, but before this game we had not seen the Jones from last year. In the long run this could be a good thing and show him it doesn't matter how good of a year he was having before this, if he doesn't show up he will be benched.
