vs. Division - They might pull an upset, but there's no reason to expect anything but 4 losses to Baltimore and Pitt. I'd say a split is reasonable against Cleveland. (1-5)

 

vs. AFC South - The problem here is that the two teams most would view as more beatable, Tennessee and Jacksonville, are road games, and the tougher games, Indy and Houston, are at home. (0-4)

 

vs. NFC West - Good break here against the worst division in the league. They get Arizona and San Francisco at home, St. Louis and Seattle on the road. I'll give them a split. (2-2)

 

Extra Two - On the road in Denver and home against Buffalo. I'll give them a split. (1-1)

 

 

That's my guess. Could be a game or two better, or it could be even uglier. Neither would surprise me really.

Hated them till Chad got traded there. I was looking for some team to watch and root for on Sundays knowing I wouldn't be able to watch the Bengals on TV for half their games. I would like to see Chad get a ring so the Patriots it is.

I think it is too early to say because of the QB situation. If either Dalton or G his name is too long plays well in the offense I could see 8-8 or who knows. If not, I think it will be a rough year.

So nice of you to wait for me. You act like I said the Bengals are going to have a great year. What I have said is the Bengals do have some good young talent, and have filled in some pieces. Would have been better if Whitner signed, cause that would have really helped the defense. If Carson was still here I would say 10 and 6, because it is an easy schedule, they would have got off to a good start and got the confidence. They would have AT WORST split with the Ravens if not swept them. Which people can't really argue with me on that, cause Carson has always given the Ravens fit and is like 9 and 4 for his career against them. Pitt they might have been able to steal one, and things like that. However that is with Carson.

 

Obviously he is not here, and as I said the QB is the big question mark this year. So it's really hard to predict how they will do. They could be as bad as a 2 and 14 team, or could suprise some people depending if they get off to a good start against an easy schedule. Because give a young team some confidence, then anything can happen. So no prediction, might be able to give you one after the preseason though.

I'll root for them to be 15-1 as long as they don't beat the Bills when I'm there. However, I think 2 to 6 wins is more likely.
