Is your 30 days up brother? I dont think so. :)

About Hayes at this time he is getting is grades in line and working out three days a week at the gym. I hope he as leaned his lesson about life and how hard you have to work for the things you love? I think we will see him back on the field at summer football

Good to hear.

Any stud transfers heading to Ft Thomas to join join group?

Just because they play in the FTJFL don't mean there from FT.

Good observation.

Actually, the FTJFL gets the name from the fact that it started in Ft. Thomas, and all the games are still played in Ft. Thomas.

Other than that, what point were you trying to make?

That is quite a lot for one class. This would mean that just about every boy that played in the FTJFL last year is planning on playing this year which is great. I would assume that this figure does not include those that may be coming from other schools in the fall which means that number could approach 60.

How many teams are usually in the FTJFL per age group? 51 is a great turnout for a freshman team even at Highlands I would imagine. It's hard not to respect a program like Highlands. :thumb:

You make it sound like 53 played in the FTJFL and there are 53 Freshman.

Apparently 53 boys played in the FTJFL and there are 51 playing freshman, Stinkyboy had a pretty nice summary.

This past season there were 5 teams in the 3/4 , 6 teams in the 5/6 and 4 teams in the 7/8th with about 26 kids per team in the 7/8 grade and 24 per team on the 3/4-5/6 teams.

Three 8th graders have been selected to play for USA team vs the world game in July.

That is excellent, there were more kids per team than what I thought. Thanks for the info. :thumb:

First applicants taken are Fort Thomas kids that want to play. After that, if there is still room , they take kids from outside of Fort Thomas at an increased application fee. The numbers have increased every year and there seems to also be a steady increase of kids outside of Fort Thomas that want to be in the league. The league is doing well .:D

Please re-read post #118, which describes in detail the breakdown of where the freshmen-to-be played last year. Since that post, no one has posted any claim that all 53 freshman played in the FTJFL.

Again, what point are you trying to make with your post?

You make it sound like 53 played in the FTJFL and there are 53 Freshman.

Are these numbers correct? If they are then Highlands is doing really well imo. Wow!!!! Keep up the great work FTJFL. Its working out exactly as Homer had planned. LOL
