HHS freshman play Trinity Sat. AM at 11. Does anyone know how Trinity's freshman look? Word has it they have a stud running back that probably should be playing Varsity.

I heard he ran the ball vs the Birds a few times.

I don't know if it's accurate to say he "probably should be playing varsity", but he has given the coaches enough effort to make them consider such... which is practically unheard of at T. I think his number is #45. I'd guess he is maybe as high as 3rd or 4th string rb???

I doubt very seriously that you will see him in action Saturday (or ever for the Frosh Rocks) versus Highlands since varsity travels to Nashville. Late night plus early morning, not good!

They have any open dates, I believe the Male freshmen do and we travel.

So now that the preseason is over and the season is about to begin, can someone give me some names that I should be on the lookout for this year. I would assume that Hoge is the quarterback, but who is going to run the ball and who is going to be opening the holes? How does this team look defensively? What about the kicking game? Just looking for some information before I attend the game tomorrow morning.

Hoge is the QB. RB's are Urlage, Venneman, Schoepf and Watson. WR's are Whitford, Jensen and Kramer. OL are Hebel, Veley, Hennigan, Gall and Daulton. Jakey Whitford kicking extra point, Pat Schoepf on kickoffs, don't know punter yet. Hope this helps.

What about defense??

Add Weyer to the list of top receivers. He also plays DB.
