Is Bo Hebel the son of Gene Hebel?

NO.

I think there will be an Abner in the group of freshman. He has nice hands, runs well and is pretty tall.

There will be two. Andrew and Johnny bringing the total to (8) Abner boys playing Highlands Football in the last 30 yrs with more coming. Keep the tradition going fellas. Man, can you imagine the xmas party braggin at that household with Suebird officiating. WOW!!!!

Not sure but Bo Hebel is a freak of nature for a current 7th grader. Part of me doesn't want the kid to play up next year,(really not sure if he is considering it) but part of me thinks it might be for the better of the FTJFL. The kid was probably the strongest kid in the FTJFL this past year in the league...Period!!!

He played this past year at around 230lbs...

I am pretty sure he is going to play up..

NO.

Thanks. Maybe it's a grandson or nephew? I know Gene is getting pretty old.

I used to see him at Newport Fitworks all the time with a younger kid and just assumed that may have been Bo.

Just because I don't have anything to brag about.....That's not cool man!!!

I have a question about the 2010 HHS frosh... I have a picture of 2010's frosh team... could someone post what the jersey numbers were for some of the "big-name" HHS frosh players in 2010? I would like to put faces to some of the names I had heard about this past season! Thanks!

Easy on Gene man, he is only in his late 40's to early 50's. lol Not to mention the guy is in phenomenal shape.

Bo Hebel is a big boy and I would expect to see him playing Frosh ball.

You can get all of the names and numbers on the Khsaa website where they have the state championship rosters. On that site they also have the sizes.

Keep in mine that there may be some Red Devil players in the mix as well. Not sure if they have the level of talent they had a year ago or not, but it would be nice to see that pipeline continue.

I have no doubt that once all of these 8th grade kids are together as a group for the first time, they will gel into the future champions they are meant to be!

Talent level for the Red Devil Seniors was way down this past year. I think they might of won 2 games..

That one will not be so easy

Now back on with the real topic!! I think this incoming freshman class has a lot of good players just like this senior class had. it will be fun to watch them grow and become young men and to see how great of people they become in 30 years!!!
