After reading all the post I am surprised no one has mention that HHS has a large #of players that played and started last year in the 4A champion game last year.Imo that along with history and tradition and playing at home gives the birds a slight edge

Wasn't cov-cath running game shut down in the second half in the first game? Also with this game not on TV I believe the team that can run a hurry up offence without mistakes and turnovers may have the better chance to win

I guess you are right Highlands is down this year.And cov-cath is up with big wins over beechwood and grant co.

How silly all of you experts in HS football will feel when HHS runs thru the district and goes deep in the playoffs.I say this because all of the teams in this district are far from power houses.I will put HHS past playing experience in championship and one and done games over the other teams.The only good game will be CCH for they have played a tuff schedule like the birds.

This sipple kid is kin of the Taylor mill sipple's. His grandfather is the late Pete sipple that could hit a softball a country mile and had a good glove.

Don't forget sipple at WR lot of action last year till he got hurt.That kid has great hands and medium speed could be a sleeper?

I would like to say I am sorry to all the BGP'ers for getting my feathers in a up roar. But it just brothers me that a young man makes a mistake and can not live it down by some posters on here.They always say his name & grades in the same post. Yes three years ago they would have been right. But now with the coaches life lessons he as learned and willing to help his teammates any way he can. I will now leave this to rest and start dreaming about how sweet (7) sounds GO BIRDS

Hayes was told by dale that he is playing the sr's first it's their season to win or lose he has a high c avg and been to 4 colleges this year so Hayes will be fine

There are so many great plays on offense & defense this year. But the one that stands our for me is the first round playoff game when Hayes broke away from 3 would be tackles and mowed over one more to score
