Congrats to HHS. The better team won. Good luck against CCH.

Now please note what I am about to say, did not affect the outcome...

I thought the officiating was terrible.

First drive for HHS, Dixie holds them. HHS goes to punt and a Dixie player runs into the punter. Penalty? Yes. Roughing? Not in my opinion. The Dixie player hit him upright when he couldn't stop. The Highland's punter sold it very well. He ended up with the roughing call.

Then the next play after that penalty, two receivers on the left side jump before the snap but no flag. Plays goes for a TD.

Dixie bench got flagged for a sideline unsportsmanlike penalty for asking the line judge "can you watch #2? He's been flinching before the snap all game."

A PI call on HHS was overlooked early on. The back judge pulled his flag out and then just held it in his hand.

Once again, the refs didn't affect the outcome of the game. They were just awful.

I thought Dixie had a few really good players. #30 could help any team in the state. I heard his name called all night. It was like he made every tackle, caught every pass, and kicked. Dixie's issue all season seemed to be too many guys playing on both sides of the ball.

Congrats to 'Birds. Great win. Keep focusing on the game at hand. The only good thing about struggling early is the blinders it creates forcing the 'birds not to think ahead.

Sounds like Highlands ran the ball well. I like getting creative with Kendall but I think the wildcat is pretty transparent. Get him the ball in space.

I will address for you. There is no such thing as running into the punter versus roughing the punter. Contact is contact at the high school level. Not sure on the receiver movement.

Sideline penalty was obviously questionable, but not being there the entire game I cannot comment.

The pass interference call that you want was not pass interference. Would have been a very weak call if made.

Care to address the two clipping penalties against Highlands that were not clips? One resulted in a pick 6 being called back. Or the hold penalty on Mitchell Cain where he pancaked a defensive back.

Officiating was suspect at best I would agree, but it certainly was not favored in any teams direction.
