He's been a bit of a dark character for a while now. Had to know it was coming, this is survival of the fittest and as we all knew going in to that place Otis was not one of the fittest. The only thing that surprised me was why he didn't just shoot him in the head, that's the worst part of that whole scenario IMO. One thing to leave a man for dead but then to leave him to suffer and be eaten alive like that, WOW.

2 things to ponder. Is Shane a bad guy? Did he do it to save himself or did he do it to save Carl?? Also if we have been discussing why these walkers do what they do, any chance Otis or any other dead characters come back to haunt one of the ones alive?

I was just thinking about that. I wonder if Otis will have some sort of "instinct" to get him back to the farm where Shane will be shocked to see him?

 

I like the scene with Daryl and Andrea in the woods last night, too. I think that was a nice touch to have a walker hanging from a tree :lol:

Shot him in the leg so he would scream and attract the walkers, good plan, dirty but it saved the kid and himself. I am enjoying the new season. I would say alot of the people who get eaten, are gone, completely dead, due to the fact that they get consumed, Otis has his face bit off, so I'd say he is gone, seems to me the ones that become walkers are ones that get away after being bitten or injured.....?

I love Daryl's matter-of-fact ways of explaining that the guy was hung from the tree and the other walkers ate his legs off :lol:

Daryl is slowly becoming winning me over as my favorite, he is real cut and dried, and is starting to be kind of a team player. Good soldier, I would say that he ends up getting killed though.

Makes me think of Lost. If you become a fan favorite, you're as good as dead already.

Most very good shows have a great cast of characters, so I think Daryl stays. And Meryl might show up too. But him worried over the arrow made sense. Would the Dead go after Otis if he was shot dead? Not sure of the Zombie rules but the hanging guy they went after him.

 

Where is the little girl?

I was just thinking that a screaming guy looks more edible than a dead one, and makes more noise, I am guessing they would eat a fresh kill, my guess on the guy hangin is he did not die quickly due to turning......into a walker, but good point. I think the little girl is gone??? No way she survives that long.

Maybe the little girl returns as a walker. I do think she resurfaces one way or other.

I think we will see her again.
