Because we're too busy laughing at the ridiculously petty nature of the suggestion. Funny that this has been an okay set-up with hundreds of teams throughout the many decades, but suddenly it's a horrible injustice. :lol:

Yeah opposing teams are just now complaining about it.

The sidelines were to close to the vistors bench area. The fields not big enough to pass each other and they ran into each other. That sounds about right.

 

Haha! I've followed these comments and this one is the best FT. I guess if they can't beat HHS on the field, they take their frustrations out on the facilities. Thank goodness none of them have stepped foot in the weight room........ Just think what they would say?

Look at what everyone is argueing over. It's been the same for years and isnt going to change so it doesn't matter.

 

For all the couples thinking about having kids , go to a Highlands game on Friday night or go to "toys R us "on the saturday morning before Christmas. You will be ready to pull your pocket knife out and give yourself a vasectomy right on the spot!!!! :taz:

Not me, I like seeing all the kids enjoying themselves at the ballgame. It's part of what makes Friday nights special. Of course, I'm glad they're not mine.

Press box is rather "spartan" but honestly I really don't care about the press box. It works and that's all it has to do. If your griping about the press box condition, you're really grasping for things to complain about in my opinion.

 

Hearken back to the "press roof" of days of yore, then compare that to the press box of today.

Or we can have state of the art facilities like SK and see how many points those indoor practices put on the board this past weekend (sorry but UK fan called for it)! I will go with the product on the field both teams played well. Perhaps lets skip the facilities talk and speak about the third down pooch punt. I have not seen that since in the early 80's on bad SK teams! Perhaps Coach W was concerned about injuring somebody on the sideline with his 3rd down kick. He did not want to hit a patron; so he warned the officer beforehand; thus he did not _ _ _ _ the pooch!

Ok, here goes. One word to solve all the problems. MONEY!!! I'm pretty sure the tree is just about bare "my friends". And before y'all start saying, please, Ft. Thomas has a never ending money tree, stop right there. Ft Thomas hasn't recently received an endowment from a local Steel manufacturer's widow or maybe a nice big ole check to buy the church next door from a local cow......feed and toothpaste manufacturer. LOL!!! Those two approx. $1,000,000.00 donations help subsidize other issues. Man that's a lot of zeros. What we could do with that kind of money. I'm still paying for the new CovCath school every Sunday at the plate. So again, yeah, Ft. Thomas would love to do all the things everybody has.....suggested, but it comes with a price.

I agree 100% about the pooch punt on 3rd down. How in the world are you going to beat Highlands at Highlands doing something crazy like that. Maybe he wasnt sure it was 3rd down because he couldnt see the down marker from his 3rd row viewpoint in the stands, right behind the cheerleaders and the poor lighting angle of the lights. Is it true that the Ryle coach did not shake Dales hand after the game? LOL.
