Zambrano on his way out of Chicago?

Recommended Posts

Go into work and act the way he did to one of your co-workers. Then let me know if you still have a job.

I'll be ready to see if you still have a job.

That is my point. Why should some guy be held to different standards then everyone else. He should not be allowed to act that way. I know if I acted that way at my place of work that I would be cleaning out my cubicle right now.

I bet if you spit on the surface of your working enviorment you would be fired to. Baseball and working in an office are not even close to the same animal.

Like I said, why Big Z? Hundreds of pro athletes act like he does on a routine basis, and yet he's the one you single out to be kicked out of the game? It's absolutely ridiculous. Pro athletes don't have "normal" jobs like most people do. And for the record, I have seen co-workers get into shouting matches with one another, and no one ever loses their jobs over it.

You've already said you can't stand him, and he's one of your least favorite players ever, so we get you don't like him. That still doesn't mean there is any reason to kick him out of the game.

While we're at it, the NFL should boot Chad, TJ, TO, Big Ben, Haynesworth, Jared Allen, Steve Smith, Plax, Ray Lewis, Anquan Boldin, Chris Johnson, etc....That's just off the top of my head.

Silly comparison.

I'd get fired for walking around adjusting myself all day like Bronson Arroyo does after every pitch. I'd get fired for arguing with a customer like Lou does with an umpire. I'd get fired for having tattoos all over my body if I deal with clients.

Come on. Its fine if you don't like a guy but don't let it effect your ability to rationalize.

Psychiatric evaluations should be a mandatory thing for all sports at this point. If you are not mentally stable, you shouldn't be allowed on the field, court, etc. On top of everything now people think they found out why Chris Henry might have been "crazy". The leagues could save lives if this would be implemented. If the damage that Henry, Benoit, etc had in their brains really do affect and change that person they need to be immediately taken out of sports. It changed Benoit so much that he killed his whole family. Extensive studies need to be done. Maybe Zambrano has taken one too many shots to the head. I don't know though? Could be linked, could not be linked.

Tell me again where all these "shots to the head" come from with baseball players? You're now comparing the physical beating football players and wrestlers take to baseball players.

The entertainment industry is out of control. They all act like they can do whatever they want. I just don't agree with it. You may think they should be allowed to since their job is different. They are a human being no greater than me. Someone with that short of a fuse doesn't need to be down any career path until he gets help IMO. My big thing is just putting everyone on an even ground. Noone should be put above anyone, but the entertainment industry (counts all sports) seem to go against that. That is really the root of my point. You can disagree all you want but that is my way of thinking.

Baseball players do get hit in the head from time to time.. I don't know about Zambrano, don't watch him enough. He might have enough chemical imbalances without any shots for all I know? I don't know much about psychiatric things.

So you really think him getting into an arguement with a "co-worker" is a sign that he's a pyscho?

I don't know what line of work you're in, but I assume it's not corporate America. You see arguements more heated than what took place between Z and Lee on a regular basis.

As for everyone being equal and on an even ground, well, we don't live in a Socialistic country. The beauty of our country is that there are people who are "above" others on both the social and economic scales, and everyone has the chance to change their place on it.

You know what assuming does..ha. Because you are 100% on your assumption in your post.

That's fine you can keep your aspect that people are better than you. I believe everyone is equal. Sorry that I think that way. I don't know if you have watched a video of the altercation, granted I've only been working in corporate America for little over a year but I have not seen any altercations like that in my office. Maybe when I get out of school and start working my farther up the corporate ladder I will? If we have a problem with someone we are supposed to go to personel. I have had interations with everyone where I work from executives to the janitors and noone displays that kind of behavior.

So once again I'll ask, you would have no problem then with the NFL kicking Chad out because of his antics?
