Booher will get this job! Bardstown hung around waiting on his decision and once he knew he was getting this job he turned Btown down.

Both, Booher and Miller, will be interviewed again...expect a coach to be named on Monday.

 

 

 

There are 2 Larry Miller's. One, won the state Championship at Simon Kenton and later coached at Meade County. He retired and came back this past year to coach at Bardstown Bethlehem. The other Larry Miller does coach at Louisville Moore. They have both been rumored in jobs or there may just be one Larry Miller looking and the confusion comes with the same name.

I think the Miller that is the finailst is from Louisville Moore. Does anyone know his age. Good luck to whoever is named the coach. They'll have talent, but also big shoes to fill. I hope Wimzie is kept. I'd guess that since he's been w/ the last 3 coaches he'll be back.

I'm not the right person to ask about that. I think they want to name the coach by the 24th though.

Miller also used to coach at Woodward.

 

With them being down to two I'd expect an announcement next week.

Imo this is a huge mistake on the selection committee's part. I heard that Larry Miller is almost 60 years old. If this is true he can't be expected to want to coach very much longer but of the two candidates he definitely has the most experience coaching the inner-city kids. Does anyone know what coach Booher's experience is with the type kid he will be coaching @ Holmes? This could be a huge culture shock for him. I think that Sullivan and Carr were both much better suited to handle this job than Booher for that reason but politics works in funny ways as we all know
