I agree with Rebel - Miller is going to start next year. He started this year and this year's team has more talent than Cal is bringing in with this class.

If Bledsoe or Orton somehow come back either one of them will start. I don't see it happening but it could. Wishful thinking on my part!

And the drama continues.

Uh oh. Is there a time frame for Leslie to announce yet GT?

Jones is starting to make this ridiculous. He cuts it to 5, then down to 3, then tells us he's going to announce but doesn't know when out of 2 dates, then he adds Kansas...what's next?

While I share your impatience & frustration, we have to step back & recognize that this is a HUGE decision for Jones & he should take as much time as he needs.

I realize he needs time and should take as much as he wants but he's putting himself in positions to make his decision that much harder. He should set a date, he should cut it to a few schools, and go from there. It's just making it harder on himself. Adding schools and not setting a date to announce (taking the pressure off actually choosing a school) are making things more confusing for the kid. It has to be.

Lets pretend that Kanter draws the same low post double teams that Cousins drew all season and that Kanter was just as adept at finding Poole (or some other new body) on the weak side perimeter, as Cousins was at finding Miller.

If we can find someone who can actually knock down that shot consistently, then there is no reason to believe that someone shouldn't be well ahead of Miller in the Cats pecking order.

Perry and Ramon went from starter to bench player when the talent improved. I would hope that JC would do the same with Miller under similar circumstances.

Miller was too streaky for me last year. He gets way too many open shots to miss as many as he did. Lamb is a better mid range shooter than perimeter shooter. If he and Darius can work on their shots along with Knight, this will be a dangerous perimeter shooting team.

Don't forget that Miller became a very good defender. Cal also loves his game in more of the DD.

True. However, I was more than a little disappointed in Miller's offensive game last year.

This is all true, but the talent will not improve from last year to this year and Miller was a starter most of the time. Miller has more experience and is further along physically (weight training) than the new comers. I think if new kids are better play them, but it will be hard to un-seat Miller at the starting table IMO.
