Gameday was great this morning! Lots of love for UK from the ESPN guys. Loved Hubert doing his version of the John Wall dance. BTW, nice segment on the JW dance. The atmosphere was awesome in Rupp. Gave me goose bumps. The house will be rockin' tonight, can't wait till 9! Just finished listening to my Cawood Ledford best calls CD, and I am pumped!!!!

Syracuse has a good fanbase and a very large arena, but they won't put 22,000 in the stands.

It's a dome, not the same thing Put a dome over Commonwealth Stadium, and see how many we get

I just got back from gameday, awesome atmosphere.

Now that would be a real homecourt advantage for UK, if we had those types of fans actually at the game it self. That place was as loud as it could be and the game was not even going on. Just shows how much more of an advantage UK could have, it if had more students and just younger people down by the court. The place was rocking today for Gameday. Rupp Arena should be loud and crazy like that during the games, but sadly it is not.

What is the reference to Jay bilas' brother?

What is the reference to Jay bilas' brother?

When Cal shook his hand, he apparently didn't know his mic was hot, he leaned in close to Bilas and said something that sounded like "We got a good seat for your brother".

I assume Bilas had requested a ticket for his brother, presumably to the game tonight. (Not to Gameday, why would Bilas' brother travel to Lexington to watch Gameday?) I think Cal was just letting him know it was covered

Agreed.

I read Bilas' niece goes to UK and his brother wanted to go to the game.

My gf and I got to Rupp around 8am this morning and it was well worth it. In the lobby of the Hyatt the whole GameDay crew was in there just mingling around with fans. I got to meet all of them but Digger, and Jay Bilas might be the nicest guy on the planet.

The Gameday crew was great, they fed off the energy that the crowd had. Hubert couldn't get enough off the fans. He even did his own version of the the John Wall dance! And Erin Andrews was looking smoking hot like always! All together a great day at Rupp. Good to see some ledgends there today too. Delk, Anderson, Goose, Richie, Meeks, Skywalker, Padgett, Chuck Hayes, Cameron Mills, and Kyle Macy.

Today was a great showing of what makes Kentucky Basketball so special...the fans.

You left out Prickett!!!

Digger Phelps has lost his marbles. Just said he thought the big ten was the strongest conference in the country and that 4 or 5 of the teams would be in the sweet 16... Somebody check his medication...
