My comments should not be inferred as a slight to Towles. Sorry if it looked that way in my earlier post. I was just trying to make my point. My comments are about one thing - I don't think Highlands' receivers get the credit they deserve.

No surprise here. I just can't wait for HHS 2010 class to graduate. They are too much for anybody in KY although I think SK could give them a pretty good game.

in light of Bluesport's post about the outcome of the game not being a surprise to him, I have a question for the CovCath faithful (now that this game is behind us): was the outcome any different from what you honestly thought would happen? I'm not talking about the loss or even the margin, but the pretty much domination by Highlands.

What the heck kind of football was CCH using yesterday on punts. That looked like something out of 1997. It looked like maybe they brought the infamous Mud Bowl ball out of retirement for good luck. I wonder who holds the key to that cabinet.....:sssh:

I agree. I think Austin has stepped up and improved every game. I'm very happy to see he looks like he's having fun playing the game. His pass defense today was excellent. I gotta give Tyler Fennell some credit today at running back. He hasn't been getting many carries over the past few weeks, but today when he was needed he really stepped up. I also have to give Hunter Schlosser credit today. He has several blocks today that were devastating. On defense I thought Roller and Dierig had typical solid games that's become expected of them. Nice game Birds!

100% without a doubt shocked that CovCath was not able to move the ball at all. I keep thinking about the 35 offensive points the Colonels up on on LaSalle when Moeller, St. X and Elder could not do it. The CCH o-line could not get an inch from Highlands front line. That surprised me a whole lot.

Also, if you look at the picture on the left side, a Cov-Cath lineman grabbed Welz by the facemask. Thats either "hands to the face" or "facemask",either way ,thats a penalty that was not called. (Refs were homers).
