CovCath had around 60 yards of total offense

Collinsworth was running on about a half a tank today. I felt really bad for him when he finished running out that pursuit. You could see he was struggling. However, his end zone "fumble" was clearly not a fumble.

 

 

Totally agree with you there. I was standing in the endzone and saw it all. He was down in the endzone so it should have been a touchdown.

The radio gave the stats as HHS 495 yards and CCH 80.

I think Cov.Cath got their 3rd first down in the 3rd quarter. The birds D was awesome, no doubt about it.

Which end zone fumble are you talking about? 1st or 2nd?

In reality there wasn't much difference in today's performance and last year's. Both teams looked completely overwhelmed and overmatched.

Finally got some chores done and now have time to post. The only reason the Colonels had a reason to smile after the first quarter is because the Bluebirds were gift wrapping early Christmas presents. Actually the first fumble was hand delivered by the referee. He was clearly down. After the Birds got going there was NO chance that the Colonels would have a say in the final. If those 2 turnovers in the first quarter would have been punched in I would have been home before now! The Colonels did how ever look better than they have. But way too much for them to handle today!

It should be noted that the offensive line blocked well today and here you see #51 Ryan Hahn who was downfield a lot today finishing blocks.

That first fumble in the endzone was not a fumble. That was definately a touchdown. The refs today were on another planet. It was really bad..Wow!!!! It could of and should of been 50 or 60 something to nothing.. I really didn't see a ton of improvement from the last few years to this year in CovCath.. The Birds better hold on to the ball a little better or it will cost them at some point..Good job Birds!!!!:ylsuper:

Surpised to see the 3 personal fouls against Highlands, no reason for these. IMO #27 should have been ejected for the flagrant punch he threw at a Cov Cath player late in the game and away from the ball.
