I just thought it would be interesting to discuss this, I know that a whole staff of coaches really reflects on the head coach but what does everyone think?:idunno:

Dale Mueller (HHS)

I think that Coach Berner from Fort Campbell has to be in the mix for this. One losing season (his first year there) and has since returned the Falcons to the level it was in the late 70's. With the turnover of folks at a military installation and continuous deployments of parents, coaching and mentoring these kids is even harder. Coach Berner and his staff do a great job with these young men.

Yes he is. Larry French has won everywhere he has been also. Boyle's staff top to bottom is very good. Goldsmith is a former head coach, so is Hester and Mason has been there since Chuck Smith's early teams. From top to bottom they are hard to beat. With the exception of a couple of players Boyle is small, not real fast and continues to beat teams with as much talent or more. Thats coaching !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and a willingness by players to accept it and give their all.

Mason Co.'s David Buchanan would have to be in the mix. He's done a heck of a job there.

Rick Thompson, Boone's head coach, graduated from Highlands.

Raceland Coaching staff. No other teams in this area plays the schedule we play. We are a small single A school. We play every year the first 5 games only 3,4 & 5A schools. Every year we beat more then half of them. Last year we didn't lose to any of them. We are the only school around last year that beat 5A Ashland, 4A Greenup, 3A Russell, 4A East Carter & 3A West Carter. When these huge schools beat us they go crazy. This coaching staff has built a very good program.
