Pitino: I had relations with Sypher

Featured Replies

No, an affair is a relationship. This was a one night stand. Sordid, base...not emotionally entagling.

An affair can occur between two UNmarried individuals.

Kids these days....they know nothing.

One thing I never thought of regarding him remaining with the university is the fact that this has happened in Kentucky. Kentucky is a very "red" state, and the right to lifers are kinda crazy around here. I could see quite a few petitions, etc., calling for his head....After all he is one of th biggest 4-5 faces in the state on a national level IMO.

But, he's in Louisville, definitely NOT the reddest part of the state....well....unless you count people wearing Cardinal shirts.

Rape is different, that is criminal.

There has always been a different set of rules for public figures. It comes with the territory.

Then do you think that Pitino would have the right (for lack of a better term) to sue UofL if indeed they dismissed him for cheating on his wife, and he knew of another UofL employee that was/is doing the same?

You can not fire a basketball coach for something you wouldn't fire a teacher for... I don't care how famous he or she is...

What world do you live in?

You absolutely can. You're not paying that teacher that amount of money to be the face of your school in front of millions of people.

Right or wrong, their held to a higher standard.

C'mon....you saying that every one night stand is an affair?

It also sasy ATTACHMENT. I wouldn't say that in this case.

What about having sex at a restaurant is romantic or passionate?

Possibly. At that point, I doubt he would.

No, unless the circumstances are the same, which I'd venture they aren't, he would have no case IMO.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying.

You obviously didn't read the article.

He admitted they had sex @ Porcini.

SHE said he raped her at both Porcini, and at Tim Sypher's condo...and at one point said Sypher was there....

Isn't the elephant in the room here how did he get his buddy to marry her? Did Pitino and Karen get along all this time after the abortion? I'm still wondering what the deal is w/ the husband presenting the demands, but being shocked at her allegations. Something about this isn't adding up to me. I think she's guilty of extortion and Pitino hasn't done anthing illegal, but I'm not convinced we know the story.

Depends, were there candles on the table?

Passion (emotion), a strong feeling about a subject or person, usually of intense desire and attraction

Does sex include intense desire or attraction?

You can't really believe that.

What would the circumstances have to be in the teachers case?
