July 18, 200917 yr Popcorn dipped in hot sauce and corn chips covered in hot sauce are two of my favorites...
July 18, 200917 yr A mixture of Franks hot sauce and ranch I have and will put on almost anything you can imagine.
July 18, 200917 yr What would anyone get out of that except to tell people that they do it? Think a lot of these things are made up, some will try anything once. Why not dip a chicken leg in ice cream, same difference? If you don't believe me, then I will gladly invite you to come watch me eat anything on my list. Why does anyone do these things? Well, because they taste good. Try thinking outside the box, and realize that not everyone loves the standard issue PB&J or soup and sandwich. A regular, old cheeseburger gets boring after a while, sometimes we need to spice it up, you know? A lot of us here love mixing sweet with savory, or mixing sweet with salty.
July 18, 200917 yr There used to be a guy in my high school that would take everything on the plate lunch, even the dessert and mix it in a big pile on his plate, then eat it. IF someone paid for the lunch. So in this case, it was a matter of economics and not gastronomics.
July 19, 200917 yr Always good to see a new member on the site. Check out the link below, and don't hesitate to ask a mod if you ever heve a question that needs answering (well, don't ask me about the meaning of life; I'm a little fuzzy on some of the deeper philosophical issues). http://www.bluegrasspreps.com/showthread.php?t=35010 Thanks for the kind words mcpapa but I'm not quite as new as it may appear. Just a new username after my membership expired.
July 19, 200917 yr My sister used to eat a mustard sandwich - two pieces of bread, mustard, onions, and potatoe chips. My youngest son puts A-1 Sauce in his chicken and noodles to the point it turns brown.:ohbrother:
July 20, 200917 yr I really am the only person that's never heard of peanuts and coke. What does it improve in the coke?
July 20, 200917 yr I really am the only person that's never heard of peanuts and coke. What does it improve in the coke? I think it’s the sweet and salty combination that appeals to people.
July 20, 200917 yr You know what I have been through this whole thread... and you people are sick... these are un-human like foods. Mustard on chocolate donuts...:puke: I give up...:isurrender:
