March 26, 200917 yr My sources have just told me that Travis Ford was seen in Lexington calling the police on a couple of guys killing a rabbit. Was he in town for a reason?
March 26, 200917 yr I hope he stays too, I hope on senior night when he walks on that court and they sing My Old Kentucky Home he gets a standing ovation that he deserves. The kid has been scrutinized and cussed and everything else in the book but he still wears that uniform with pride, to me that speaks volumes about his character to take that and keep on swinging. Amen. But we have seen this before. Ask Sean Sutton or Saul Smith how they were treated by some fans. Saul played his heart out all the time and was lambasted by numerous fans. He was part of winning three SEC Championships, three SEC Tournament titles and one NCAA National Championship. He also captained an SEC All-Star team that went 4-1 vs. the Japanese Olympic team. Smith ranks 10th all-time in Kentucky basketball history with 363 assists. Smith led the Wildcats in assists in both the 1999-2000 and the 2000-01 seasons and in steals with 51 during the 2000-01 season. Smith played in 143 games during his Wildcat career, starting 70 times. He finished his career with 730 points while never missing a practice. Michael Porter may not be a great PG, but he is a fine representative of the University of Kentucky.

March 26, 200917 yr My sources have just told me that Travis Ford was seen in Lexington calling the police on a couple of guys killing a rabbit. Was he in town for a reason? Your sources are wrong. It wasn't Travis Ford in town, it was Billy Donovan. And he wasn't calling the Lexington Police, he was talking to a real estate agent about a new house and a horse farm. He flew in on a small private plane, and you could probably track that flight from Gainesville.

If BCG does leave, ... you know that those types of posts will be flying like crazy all over the internet!
March 26, 200917 yr My sources are never wrong my friend. No one knows better than my babies mommy- cousins- uncle, the pig farmer from East of the Red River where those two trees point north.
March 26, 200917 yr Hot off the rumor mill! Barnhart will become the next coach after confering with Jerry Jones of the Cowboys he (Barnhart) felt as if he is the next logical choice since Donovan, Calapari, Pitino, nor Ford wanted to come to UK. He seems to know EVERY thing about basketball and wanted the final say in basketball matters.

President Todd is now officially the new starting Point Guard/Assisstant Coach under Barnhart's new team!! :dancingpa
March 26, 200917 yr No, but seriously, is it just me or is this day taking forever to find out some information? LOL
March 26, 200917 yr Rick P called this saying if we get rid of Tubby Smith it would set the program back 5 years. So far he is right. We didn't get rid of Tubby, he left. And Tubby had already set the program back.
March 26, 200917 yr Skip Bayless just said on 2nd and 10 that Jodie Meeks has basically tried to get Gillespie fired on his own. His reasoning was because he refused to shoot for long stretches of time. Someone saying this leaves me speechless, how do guys like this get away with saying things like that about student athletes... Skip Bayless is an idiot who is just looking for ways to stir things up and things to argue about. Cannot stand Skip Bayless. Dislike him so much that I actually started to like Stephen A. Smith. :puke:
March 26, 200917 yr I'd laugh my butt of if none of the chosen ones wants the job and Coach G walks away and says later and leaves Brainfart with no coach or obvious choice to replace him maybe then we can do a two'fer and get rid of Barinfart and get a new AD as well as a coach.
March 26, 200917 yr Why wouldn't he come back and play? It would be free... Porter will earn his degree this spring and is also married, with a child on the way.
March 26, 200917 yr I do not think the criticism is all that unfair, this will be three coaches in 4 years. Like it or not that says something about the job itself. As was stated on ESPN earlier this afternoon, if UK offers him (BCG) a dollar, take it and run away from this job as fast as he can.
