Bowling Green is MORE centrally located for the entire state than Lexington or especially Louisville. Louisville is on the river and Lexington is pretty much eastern Kentucky.

I agree. BG would be centrally located...if we lived in Tennessee.

NKY is not vast majority of the state.

 

Maybe not, but more than likely 3 teams (maybe more) that will be in the finals will be from NKY.

And three from western Kentucky. And maybe three from eastern Kentucky. And three from Louisville.

WKY fans can't complain too much about WKU in Bowling Green. They have a whole other State Univ. in Murray. The only University really in EKY is Morehead State.

 

Geographically, the TRUE center of the state is somewhere in a triangle drawn connecting Richmond, Mt. Vernon, and Bardstown. Maybe we could all take tents and line off a nice farmer's pasture for the games ?!? :sssh:

Some people on the west side of the state don't consider Bowling Green as western Kentucky ...

I've always considered Western Kentucky University to be South Central Kentucky University... Makes more sense. :lol:

So Centre College is truely the center of the state. There ya go, have the state games at Centre College.:banana:

And if UofL can't commit, then so be it. WKU will be the real beneficiary as they will get thousands of high school students to come check out the campus.
