UL looked pretty good while I was watching. Ron English seems to have been a very good hire.

Im glad to hear all the positives about UL and this from a UK fan. Give the man a little time to completely put his stamp on the program. UL will be a big factor in the conference race!!

In regards to Vic Anderson vs Brock Bolen, it's apples and oranges. Vic is a great RB for his speed, Bolen for the fact that he makes defenses afraid to hit him because he hits them first. They're an awesome combination.

Night and day for Cantwell. I would have sworn it wasn't the same guy that played in the UK game. Can't say enough about Beaumont and Anderson. Great game for those two:thumb:

K State could possibly be one of the worst tackling teams I have ever seen. They allowed Louisville to establish the run and then Louisville started going to the air. Louisville's D is still pretty atrocious also.

I am glad UL decided to run the ball and stick with it. I hate when teams try to pass just to balance out the offense. If you can run, you do it.

When I got home last night I flipped straight to this game and saw a kid from St. X (Anderson) score on a nice 56 yard TD run. On the two-point conversion I saw a kid from Paducah Tilghman (Cantwell) throw a nice pass to a kid from Male (Beaumont).

Reasons like this make it hard for me to root for UK when the Battle for the Governor's Cup is played. But rest assured, with the exception of that one game each year I am a UofL fan.

I nailed this one. I bet on the Cards as a +190 underdog :thumb:

Missed this one. Cards looked pretty good.

Other than the two dropped passes in the end zone (one of which was behind him) I thought Chichester played a great game, remember he is only a freshman.

The story of the night was Victor Anderson, he was far to quick for that Defense.

I like the young talent Louisville is showing, in the next couple years we could have another contending team.

^ Chichester is going to be great, but he has a long way to go. They were furious at him late in the 3rd when he failed to get separation on one red zone play, he also ran the wrong route on another occasion, and he failed to box out another time on a midfield slant. He has got to be more physical with that 6'8", but rest assured, when he does there won't be anyone who can stop him except for him.

Congrats to the Cards on the win. What a great game by Vic Anderson. I agree that Chichester is going to be a good one. I don 't look forward to that match up with the UK defensive backs the next few years.

The juco linebacker transfers, particularly Canady, are making a big difference.

I have been very impressed with our "green" linebackers thus far.
