Chichester isn't where he needs to be, but I thought I saw a subtle hint of improvement. Hunter Cantwell was what we knew he could be. Defensive line needs work.
September 18, 200818 yr I completely mised this one. U.L. has improved. Also, I knew they were not a top Big12 team but I thought that K-State was a better team than this, especially defensively. They are a terrible defensive team.

September 18, 200818 yr Couple comments.... 1) Didn't get to watch the game, but from what I heard on the radio, it sounded like Cantwell played a heck of a game. 2) UofL has a kicker problem. 3) One of the radio guys really made a comparison between a UofL back and Barry Sanders... 4) They gave UK's defense some props saying they were beginning to think that maybe the UK "D" is really just that good. Big win for the Cards!

Hunter looked a little better. Why, why, WHY, do our corners consistently give 8-10 yard cushions on receivers? We give up way too many first downs that way. Victor Anderson and Doug Beaumont are the future of Louisville Football. Period. Special teams was dreadful tonight. On 4th and 1, inside your opponents 25 yard line, when they have 8 in the box, RUN PLAY ACTION!!! Woodny Turrene finally showed up, one year and two games late. I couldn't be happier with the Ron English hire.
September 18, 200818 yr Just got back. 303 yards rushing, 41 min. TOP. I thought the Cards played really well, except on special teams. Vic Anderson may be the man from here on out. The line was excellent, as was the linebacking corps. Plenty of things to fix, but some cause for hope, a real morale booster, and no reason we cannot be a factor in the Big East with Usf, Wvu, and Uc, all at home.

September 18, 200818 yr How many did Bolen end up with? 103 yds So far this season, it has been very hard for teams to run the ball on the Cards. I think the total for K State was 30 yards, compared to 307 for UofL.
