Anybody getting any wind?

Featured Replies

It's very windy here in Independence. I went out to rake out the straw from my new grass, and it would just blow down the street. It was kinda nice, as I don't have to haul it all around back and into the woods, but I didn't want my neighbors having to deal with the straw in their yards and flower beds.

Great as if Palmer didnt stink it up last week. Will these winds hit cincy by game time?

Yeah, it's pretty windy now

Down here in Paducah we got trees down everywhere, been without power since 8:30am, saw a trampoline flying threw the air, that was pretty cool

I think those powerful winds from WKY are in Louisville. We now have several down trees in my my neighborhood, a power pole snapped in half, and the front window blew out of our house.

I had the same thought when I saw the title of this thread. This is SCARY! :scared:

However, this just goes to show that "great minds stink alike..."

:ylsuper:

Crazy windy here in Bardstown. It's caused the power to flicker a couple times, and it's affecting my cable. I think I'll wait to go to the grocery until tomorrow ...

Live out by CVG and had a tree blown down that hit our home! No major damage just a bent gutter, but man it is blowing trees down all around us!

We lost electrical power about 20 minutes ago. My mother lost a window at her house. I am a little nervous, as I have four 100 yr+ maples trees that surround my house.

50 mph gust in Frankfort .

Was starting to get windy here in Winchester, when we left church this morning. Now the tree limbs are going every direction.

TB&G we also have lots of very mature trees surrounding our house....it used to be a Turkey farm and the trees are where the Turkeys roosted at night. We have 7 large maples in our front yard. Yes it is scary...

Very windy here in Northern KY. Power keeps going on and off. Not resetting my clocks for awhile!

At least there will be SOME action over at the Bengal's game!

Let's keep each other in our thoughts, GS!

You got it.:thumb:

Word has it a tree fell in Lexington, crushing a car and killing 2.

Danville has plenty of damage as well. All kinds of tree branches broken off, etc.
