Anybody getting any wind?

Featured Replies

We're getting it pretty heavy here now. Trees and wires are down all over the area. Power is out in Cold Spring, the north end of Fort Thomas and probably many more places.

And our famous banana tree got knocked over, with the loss of one branch.

When is it going to stop?

After the cold front blows through, late this evening.

I hope that the banana tree will be okay. He has seen way to much violence and destruction in his young life!

He's a trooper! Our power went out one second after I hit the submit button on my last post. I had to post this using the cellphone.

According to weather.com the wind was 35mph in ft. mitchell with a 63mph gust! Scary weather, i couldn't imagine being in a hurricane.

We've had it bad since before 8 this morning. We lost power for about 4 hours, but thankfully it's back on now.
