Anybody getting any wind?

Featured Replies

Our power went out at 2pm and didn't come back on until 6pm. It was really bad here. ( we live in right by the airport) There was a trampoline on a house off Connor Rd. L:Ots of trees down on the way on Limaburg and in our neighborhood. Siding every where, and lots of shingles. Our house seems to be ok. It was scary. I walked outside and could barely stand up at times. They mention 70+mph winds at CVG.

What area do you live in? I know there is a lot of people with out. My friend lives in richwood on one side of the expressway and they have power, and my parents live on the other side and they haven't had it since 1pm. They went and bought coolers with ice for their cold and freezer stuff.

Is it just me or does anyone else think these type of storms have been getting worse and worse over the last couple of years ?

Maybe I just didn't pay enough attention until now.

It seems like we've had some terrible (borderline scary) thunderstorms this year.

Anyone heard when its supposed to be back on in NKY? Right across the street from us has power. From our side on is without.

Duke is saying that it could be up to 3 days to get powered restored to everyone in the Greater Cincinnati area. Hopefully you don't have to wait that long, especially with the newborn.

In Louisville, they're saying up to 7 days before everyone is restored here.

Just talked to my brother-in-law that lives in Taylorsville and he said that all schools in Louisville have been canceled for tomorrow. Yes that is public and private...:D

Any unscheduled day off before the snow starts falling is always a plus around my house.

I thought at first all the wind was coming from Paul Brown stadium.

We are in Bellevue.

He's my only real concern.

If it were just the wife and I, we'd manage.

But she's having some trouble feeding him in the dark. We have some candles but its not going well.

Hopefully not too much longer.

It so odd, b/c my parents don't have electricity but the street behind them in their neighborhood have it. WEIRD

Power is back on here in Cold Springs and Highland Heights so hopefully it won't be to much longer for you 98. We called Duke earlier and they said could be as late as Tuesday at 9 for some people.

No power. My patio table is destroyed. Bricks are everywhere, part of my chimney fell over. My fantasy team is also getting beat. Bad day.
