Still no power on North end of Ft. Thomas. Spent the night in Green Township with in-laws. Got fed very well and watched a great NFL game with Pops -in law. Refreshments were outstanding.

Wonder how many babies will be born 9 months from now? I bet there was a LOT more than Scrabble going on in the last couple days.:sssh:;)

Still nothing....all alone in a big dark house last night! Just me and the dog!

He's actually a really good conversationalist, I underestimated the pooch. ;)

No power still. :cry::cry:

My parents live in Union and they still don't have power but streets next to them do, its so weird.

I have great sympathy for all who are still feeling the effects of this storm . We never lost power only cable ,phone service and broadband for a little while Sunday . Couldn't watch the Bengals debacle which was a blessing . Just shows you that God does work in mysterious ways .

Ah! Power was also back on at 6:30 AM. No phone, cable, or internet service. I'm guessing that could take a while.

Driving around this morning, the northernmost sections of the Highlands look even worse than yesterday. As trees get removed, they're finding that a lot of the fallen trees were holding up lines and poles. There are even more poles and wires in the street than yesterday.

I did finally see the first LG&E truck in the neighborhood late last night. None of the streetlights work yet but almost all the businesses seem to have power.

My parents live on the far East End near the Oldham County line, but their lines are underground so I'd assume they'll get theirs back before me. Looking around the city, it's easy to understand the 10-14 day prediction.

I'm just assuming since most of you are posting about not having power or the internet you all post from work?

^Never;)

I got nothin...

No action or no power?

Or, let me guess....both!

Our power never went off in Union....at least not when we got home from the Bengals game.
