I still haven't figured out why that kid doesn't play...UK would definitely benefit from it, IMO, not only now, but in the long run as well.

He's in the dog house.....:argue:

What about now guys?

:lol::lol::lol:

Gonna have to say tonight firmed up my belief...

Can there be a re-vote? Not that I would have to.

I chalked this one down as a loss, so I still think they make it, but they have absolutely zero margin for error now.

Tonight was ugly no doubt.

They have little margin for error. They were getting some national buzz back and then tonight.

Still, if they go 12-4 in the conference they should get in, because no team from any conference that went 12-4 ever been left out.

To be fair I don't think any team that went 12-4 in confernce play had such ugly losses at home to teams the like of San Diego and Gardner Webb, and were blown at by 41 in conference play.

What's the remaining SEC schedule? What are the chances of going 6-1 the rest of the way?

Way back when the SEC prediction thread came out, I said 10-6 for UK; based on two things. After the top couple of teams, the SEC is way down this year. And I didn't think that UK could possibly be as bad as they had shown when that thread appeared; and that they would surely improve.

10-6 is still in the picture, but with the bad OOC losses, coupled with tonight's beatdown on national television, does not get UK to the dance. I'm about 99.4% sure that it will take running the table in the SEC tourney.

They are out now for sure unless they get the automatic bid and what's the chances of that happening.

That game hurt, but they're not out. They still need to finish 6-2 in the second half of the SEC, and pick up an SEC tourney win or two.

They lost (by a lot) on the road to the #12 RPI team. They've got 4 more games against Top50 teams. Go 3-1 in those, and 3-0 in the others, and they've got a real good shot at getting in.

Tonight was just one loss. It makes the margin or error smaller, but if they finish 6-1, they're in.

Don't fool yourself in to thinking that's a loss UK can overcome. It was on prime time ESPN and they were smashed for 40 minutes. Given the rest of the resume, that was a big nail in the coffin...

Unless UK goes on some sort of unforseen run this last month, their only hope is to get a good draw in the SEC tournament and pray that all in their path catches the flu.

Without a true PG and only one post player, you are not going to build a solid resume from here on out.
