Wouldn't you think that he and his wife had already discussed it... I'm sure she knew he was coming to KY to talk with Boyle. I would also think he had a pretty good idea of what the 'package' would entail and discussed that with her also.

 

I dunno... it may still happen I'm just a bit surprised.

My best source tells me that Guy went home to Texas to "discuss the decision with his wife."

 

It could be:

 

A) he's gone to tie loose ends up and announce early next week he's coming to Boyle.

 

B) he's gone to see what progress there is on another spot open to him as a line coach.

 

C) all the above.

 

I'm probably going with "all the above." If he likes what he hears from a school for an assistant spot, he might very well end up there and use this Boyle interview as leverage.

 

Like I've said all along, I've loved the roller coaster ride and it's been fun but I will believe he's Boyle's coach when he announces it so.

Guy flew back to Texas to talk it over with his wife. No decision has been made yet and no timetable has been set for his answer either.

He won 7 in the face of probation while at UK and was one DB play from winning 8. Guess there's no pleasing some people. :lol:

I don't have any evidence to back it up, but its my feeling that he will be the next H.C. at Boyle Co.

I hope this all works out. This would add a lot of excitement.
