Orca1
I agree with both of you on this one. How dare the coaches in that district believe that anyone besides a Trinity player deserves to be All-District. P. S. A player can't be chosen All-District if he wasn't nominated. Also, Beatty couldn't vote for his own players so the poor public school kids were probably chosen by default.

The point was that with all of the 1st teamers Eastern and Ballard had, the games maybe, just maybe, should have been closer. Paranoia is a dangerous thing. Also, everyone knows that most of these coaches do not like to give any kudos to Trinity due to their strong dislike for Beatty.
Orca1
Once again you may want to check with Beatty to see who he nominated. Also, no one paranoid here. Seems that the people who live vicariously through high school football players might be the paranoid ones. The coaches in the district(except Whalen at Eastern, can't vote for your own) thought Ferguson was deserving.

QB isn't even Ferguson's best position.

I stated the fact that the other coaches...whenever possible don't vote pro Trinity. The way it has been...nothing paranoid about it. Ask some of them sometime they will tell you. Great job to all these young men....no matter what school they go to!
Orca1
TD- which coaches did you talk to that stated that they voted anti Trinity? Eastside-Why is Qb not his best position? From what I understand at least three D1 programs would love to have him play that position for them.

I have no dog (no kid in any program) in this fight and have no reason to not state it like it is. Stein is/was the best QB in the district....easy as that! As long as we are stating OPINIONS, I will give you mine.... Both Ferguson and Pryor would flourish in Trinity's system. (Afterall, they have a lineman going to Florida.) Both Ferguson and Pryor were dual threats Stein was not. Stein is GREAT at what he does, but to say that he is the best qb in the district is just one person's opinion. Also, as I thought no coach admitted to vote anti anybody:sleep::sleep::sleep:
Canescat
Stein was a dual threat and was very effective running the ball when he was given the green light. Check out Trinity's last drive in regulation of the State Championship game.
