Going to tell my age.. In the mid and late '50's there were several but I remember Bobby Walker..

Anyone else going to show their age.

Already mentioned but Boone Countys Best running back ever goes to Shaun Alexander then Cory Farris who was just a couple hundred yards short from breaking Shaun's career rushing record at Boone.

North Bullitt - current senior-to-be Dalton Cissell. Will enter his senior season with just over 5,000 career rushing yds. Will get 30+ carries a game in '08 and should finish career somewhere near Top 5 all time in Kentucky.

Henson was a good player, but his best seasons came as a Freshman and Soph when Lynn Camp had those great FB's.

 

I remember when Lynn Camp came up to Ludlow in 99-00 season. Ludlow won the game and held Henson to less than 10 yards rushing.

I remember Marcus Wright...man was he fast!!!!

Forgive my spelling but Jelondi Brandon was pretty good too. I remember him from when I was a kid in the early 90's

 

Julani Brandon was a wide receiver.

At HC Tyrone Armstrong and Rodney Stone. No one else even close.

I was double checking to see if anyone had mentioned him .

He was a great back.

Joe Roskoph would have to be in that mix, and Trampus Hollins could have been one of the hardest guys to tackle. Quentin was a good back but did not have a great senior year.
