Yes,and i cant believe i forgot him since i know him and his family very well. Bad part is i cant remember if it was Mike,or his brother Jeff.

He has already been put on here for Dayton but Jason Skirvin was an amazing running back. Although he had a good team around him, he almost single handedly beat Beechwood in the 1995 semifinals (quaterfinals?). Great player but even a better person. Another great back from Dayton was Kleet (sp?).

 

I played against Greg Klette and he was a top notch back and one that will be ranked up there with the best at Dayton. Jesse Herbst wasnt too shabby either.

I would say at Ft. Campbell it would be Darrell Wallace. He played with the Falcons in 1980-1982. Went to Missouri and became the all-time leading rusher in the Big 8 during his time. Then was drafted by 49'ers but didn't make it due to his size. Went and played in the Canadian Football League.

Kelvin Turner...would he crack the list?

 

Lance Burnett was a big, fast back from Bell Co. 89-90

 

Some of the highlands nation may be able to help me with the last name but I remember a back you all had, first name Corey Scarloto? I am not sure if thats the correct way the last name was pronounced.

 

Beechwood also had a back in the early 90's that was a very good back. Brandon Burger. Very punishing and explosive back to watch.

Dayton's Jason Skervin. By far one of the toughest back to ever come out of Dayton and i'm pretty sure he holds the single season rushing record there.

 

Deep Wing from the 40's went to Westpoint out of Dayton.

Danny Bolser was a Truck in the Mid 70's

The Wilburn brothers in 1967 Sam or Fred

The 30,s 40's and 50's Dayton had some real good running backs

Ludlow- Vincent Sullivan

 

I believe a gentleman by the name of JIM LOKESAK night have a little something to say about that my friend. He was part of a State Championship at Ludlow in 1975 and went on to the University of KY..Sullivan on the otherhand had a lot of talent but I think most would agree it went to waste.

For Ludlow its not even close the best runningback for them ever is definitely Jim Lokesak...

 

Then Im sure there might be some others in front of Vincent as well that I dont know. But I also would put Jeremy Mills in front of Vincent...Vincent was probably one of the most athletic players to ever play at Ludlow, but pretty much wasted his talent...

Trimble Co. David Bird. If he had not got hurt this past year he would have had a shot at 3000 yards in a season. Finished with 4715 yards in 2 and half years. Avg over 10 yards a carry.

For Trinity, I think a lot on here would agree Alan Hennessey is the best to this point. I think the discussion becomes a lot more interesting after the '08 season!
