I think U of L will win somewhere in the vicinity of 14 points...I hope I'm wrong and after watching both teams for two weeks, I think UK has a much better chance than I originally thought, but ultimately, I don't think they'll have enough. The way Kent State ran the ball and the injuries to UK's DT's really makes me think the Cardinals will have too easy of a time running the ball.

I've seen 3 of the 4 games, (I missed Louisville & Murray). Louisville's defense has given up more than I figured, but so has UK's especially against Kent St. I too hope I'm wrong.

I have not voted yet,but as of right now I do think that one of these teams will win. Put the kidding aside, I'm still not sure who will win, I do want UK to win very bad,but can the Cats pull this one off? I just don't know. But I will have my prediction later this week.

You picked Va Tech to beat LSU too...

True, but what's wrong with that? two top 10 team's, a lot of people didn't think LSU had that great of an offesne, I am sure im not the only person in the world to think V Tech would have won that game.

UK will slow this game down and want to milk that clock as long as possible. If they can keep that Louisville offense off the field then they should pull this off. Louisville should still be aware they can go with the deep ball at anytime. Huge advantage in UK's favor vs the DB's of Louisville. This is going to be very interesting. I have a feeling the final score is definitely going to shock the nation though...

I can't believe UK is winning this poll. It won't even be close in the second half. UL by 24 -- 44-20

There are a lot of UK fans on this site and THEY BELIEVE. Nothing wrong with that at all in my book. And while I picked UL in a close one, ... I know UK CAN pull the upset, ... just am not convinced they will.

We keep talking about Brohm and Woodson, but the running game for both teams has been pretty solid. I would not be surprised to see both teams have a back 150+ yards.

I believe kentucky does have a chance but like most people on here the edge goes to louisville. We all know that they have awesome offense's but i believe this game be won by the defensive line. You guys wait and see whoever has the best pressure will win. What's your opnion.:thumb:

Any new info on Myron Pryor?

Have you ever heard of an upset? You have got to believe that UK playing at home finally with a full roster and a good experienced team, motivated by playing a top 10 team with an opportunity to move into the top 25 with a win over the in-state rival is more than capable of pulling it off. I do not think any one will be surprised if UK wins this game. It is the perfect set up for an upset!

I am pulling hard for UK, and holding out hopes of an upset (yes it would be a major upset). But in reality, I think UL will win by about 10, something in the 38-28 range.

I think the defenses come in pumped and hold the scoring down more than most are thinking.

Winning the turnover battle will be huge, as will the kicking/receiving game.

This is an exciting week and a game that I can't wait to see.

Go CATS!!!!

UK needs to force turnovers to win this ballgame. The UK defense made its reputation last year by the "bend but don't break" style. This wouldn't seem to work against UL because they tend to score from much further out than most teams due to their recieving core and accurate QB. I think we see the same UK defense that we saw in late last season against Clemson and Tennessee, and I think they will force 2 or 3 turnovers.

With the three-headed rushing attack that UK has in Little, Smith and Dixon I think they will be able to control the game and the clock just enough to be able to capitalize efficiently on these turnovers. I believe Woodson will show up huge in this game and provide one of his patented game managing efficient performances. This game will be back and forth into the fourth quarter, and I believe UK forces the last of their turnovers to seal the victory.

Kentucky 38

Louisville 34

Any new info on Myron Pryor?

Pryor - questionable

Lumpkin - doubtful

UofL in a close one.

Pryor - questionable

Lumpkin - doubtful

No one has heard the results of Pryor's MRI?

The biggest factors that contributed to UL's success over UK the past few years has been their overall speed advantage and their dominance on both the offensive and defensive lines.

UK has addressed the speed issues and has closed the gap there............we will know after Saturday if the line play is close to even or not. The first two games would suggest that UL's defensive line play is down from last year, but they have some talent there and could turn it on at some point this season.
