The real question is, how much has either offense (and defense for that matter) kept under wraps the first two games?

^ I know from what we've been told in Louisville that he is around 50 - 60% on what has been shown. I don't know what Rich and Joker have shown. I can only imagine that with the score being 14-14 at the half this past Saturday, they opened some more of it up. No telling really. Here's the thing, if both of these teams are playing man to man, it's that simple, and that difficult, if you will, to guard. The front seven, I am sure will have their brains overloaded by gametime, which is also sometimes a bad thing.

I agree, and I would say the team with less overall talent (UK) has shown a bit more of their playbook than the other.

UK will have to get some of their players off the injured list...and even that may not be enough.

No, UK ran it down their throat in the second half. I am not sure if UK has shown anything or if they like to keep it simple hiding their pass protection issues. I would expect UKs defense to send more people after the QB though. They have been using their front 4 for pressure the last two games.

Don't believe that for a second. UK has shown nothing but straight up basic football. Joker has many tricks up his sleeve. If you watched UK's last few games last year there were reverses, double passes,screens, fake punts etc. none of which has been used this year with the same players. Look for UK to open up the bag of tricks in this game.Also look for the bubble screen to Burton, that has also been in the bag this year!

When Conner is picking up two TD's and Locke a 3rd, I think it is safe to say that UK isn't using the front 1/3 of their play-book.

Actually in the second half pretty much all UK did was run the ball down Kent State's throat. My bet is at the half Brooks & Company saw the large difference in rushing yards, and decided to pound it.

I can't believe UK is winning this poll. It won't even be close in the second half. UL by 24 -- 44-20

It's hopefully going to be a great game nonetheless.

 

Man I am so pumped for this game. I am going today after work and buying some UK stuff to wear for the game!

I believe a big key for UK is putting pressure on Brohm. If Kentucky can live in the backfield like Rutgers did last year then UK won't have much problems with UL. But if Brohm has all day to set back in the pocket and throw then UK is going to have a tough time with UL.

Also I think TO's will be huge in this game. Neither QB has thrown a pick yet this season. But if 1 of them do throw a pick or a big fumble could sway things 1 way or the other.
