At SK as the Birds only had 2 home games this year. I believe it's a week from tomorrow?

I agree SK beat Ryle. I wouldnt say fairly easy, I dont think you were at the same game I was. The score was 18-14 with just over 2 minutes to play (Ryle got the ball back and went 4 out and out, SK only had to go 9 yards for their last score). I am not sure of the CC game but I heard it wasnt a cakewalk. I like all 4 teams but the way I see it is. SK, Ryle, CC and Highlands. If only we could have a 4 team playoff.

 

That was a hard fought game and by no means an easily won game. They CC game wasn't ever really a contest, SK dominated pretty much throughout.

GREAT question. They had 3 scheduled but Boone was moved to Boone which has been discussed previously. The varsity also only had 3 scheduled. I don't know why that happens. You would think it would be about half and half each year at the Freshman level but it's my understanding varsity and soccer conflict at various schools, causing games to be moved around.

The V games, home/away, were affected due to the changes in Class at all levels.

My bad, I was also referring to the days being changed by conflicts for both HHS and it's opponents. Should have made myself clearer. Soccer hasn't affected the home/away issue as far as I know because they do play up at Tower Park.

7 to 7 at the half. BHS flat coming out at the half, NCC making the best of that. Congrats to NCC, that it is the second time they beat the Beechies.

 

Both teams have a few+ good position players, but to be consistant with my prior post, I don't think these schools compete with some of the big schools week in and week out at the frosh level. Now, if you would combine the likes of BHS and NCC, then I think they run the table in NKY in any given year. But!!!!! On their own merit, how these schools get it done at the varsity level (competing with the biggins) is beyond my limited knowledge.

Well then I guess it's time to throw CovCath into the discussion as one of the best frosh teams in NKY. They have beaten Campbell, and were a failed 2 point conversion from beating Highlands.
