Is there any way that Highlands' freshman team can still make it to the frosh championship game?

With the projected rain and wet conditions, any chance the HHS / SK Frosh game might get moved to Highlands Field Turf? I just watched HHS Frosh practice in Death Valley and you want to talk about sloppy mud. Does SK have Field Turf or Mud?

Usually its hard dirt with some grass mixed in, but after today's rain and a soccer game on it tonight I'd say any rain at all on Thursday results in it being mud.

Does Scott have a true Freshmen team or are they a mix of Fresh an JV?

I guess the next question would be does SK Varisty Football play at home or away this Fri? If at home, I would venture to say unless the field is already in disrepair then the Frosh will be hard pressed to have any chance in playing there.

Highlands played Scott three weeks ago and I think they brought over around 15 to 16 kids. I assume they were all Frosh.

The weather in NKY for this Thurs. looks very rainy. This could effect many of these important games.

They have a true freshman team.

Does this game get cancelled due to field conditions. I know that it would only take one sloppy game for a field to be ruined for the rest of the season. Is that what Simon Kenton's varsity coach wants. To play on a muddy cow pasture the rest of the season.I can hear the rain hitting our roof right now at work. It's raining pretty hard!!!! It could rain like this all the way up to about 3 or 3:30 and this game could be played at Highlands.

With this being Highlands Varsity Bye week, no pressure to be on the field today in pads so I say move it to Highlands on the Turf.

I tend to agree, with all the turf we have these days our kids playing and future generations wont even know what its like to smell the fresh cut grass or experience being slammed into a puddle of mud.

Or pull a groin or roll an ankle from the dried mud...etc...
