An attempt at the 2A standings not counting games outside of the district.

 

I'm not sure all the district games are done but I think they are. Someone can help with the unknown, and I am not sure these are correct.

 

NewCath 7-1 (2 wins over Beechwood, LLoyd, HC, and split 1-1 with Newport)

 

Beechwood 6-2 (2 wins over Newport, Lloyd, HC, 2 losses to NCC)

 

Newport 5-3 (2 wins over LLoyd, HC. 1-1 split with NCC, 0-2 against Beechwood)

 

Lloyd and Holy Cross (not sure but either 2-6 or 1-7 or 0-8)

 

Newport 4 -4 ( Wins - Clermont NE, NCC, HC, Lloyd/ Losses - Lawenreburg, NCC, 2-Beechwood.

They play on Thursday -- is this your guess or what?

Will the running back from SK continue to play? He didn't look to good against HHS.

 

To clarify that, he ran the ball REALLY well but he looked pretty gimpy. The BGP phrase is 'gamer'...

 

He has always looks that way in games. Always seems to get up slow, like he is tired or hurt, then goes back into the huddle and runs the ball just as hard as the last play. Same M.O. since midgets in BCPWFL.

Holy Cross has not won yet .Beechwood has not played HC a second time yet ,they play next week .B'Wood was going to have a bye this week ,but are now playing Anderson (Ohio ) this Sat. at 10:00 at B'Wood

I think this is the frosh/soph standings however I would like some corrections:

Dayton 5-2 (Bell/Day split so they are tied)

Ludlow 4-3

Walton 4-2

Brossart 0 - 6

Bracken (cancelling games)

10-25.I would guess Newport will win this game.

Holy Cross has not won yet .

 

I thought HC won the first game of the season.

I don't think Newport will beat Newport Catholic if they played again. Nothing against Newport, but I think NCC will be a bit more prepared this time around.

I think they lost to NCC there first game . They had a BYE the opening week and played NCC to open the season for them .This is frosh ,right .

 

My understanding is there is not going to be a playoff system for these teams . I was told they are not allowed to play once the regular season is over for the varsity .Exception is JV can play next day as normal.

I heard that SK was trying to make up their game with Holmes on Saturday but I think that fell through for some reason?
