Crane will probably see time at linebacker but I would be surprised to see him getting a bunch of carries over Simpson and Dewalt, the two returning starters.

 

I agree nky, I see him playing LB or maybe corner next year but 2nd or 3rd on the depth chart at RB. Which is not bad behind Simpson and Dewalt.

Not bad at all, he has two experienced and very good RB's in front of him. I think the varisty will need Corner's more than LB so we might see him in that position. I still have heard the rumors that he will be leaving but hopefully for SK those are just that, rumors.

They were talking about next year, meaning that he would no longer be a freshman.

I have heard that Crane is not playing basketball at SK this year but I don't know that means he is leaving SK. A lot of kids at this age decide to settle on a sport and make a serious commitment to that sport. He could have just decided to hit the weights and focus on football.
