I quess you missed that Ryle was in the top 1000 public schools in the united states per U.S. News and World report. The only other school was Highland at 700 something. Hmmmm didnt see Beechwood there.

 

You must not have looked hard enough. They are the highest scoring state tested school in KY.

Sorry Cuz(Luke) Hopefully you will get to move up if they do that with Frosh in CC for the end of Varsity/JV season. Congrats on the great season and promising future for your program. I guess that's the way the coin flips. Even though it went in the birds' favor, it doesn't make it right. Why not a playoff? I bet there is not one kid or coach that would be upset about getting to play a longer season. Is there?

Congrats to CC and Coach Doug Miller. They had a very good team this year with alot of talent and some very good coaching. Its nice to see some of NKY's former elite talents taking over HS programs and teaching and excelling.

Didnt CC lose to CovCath this year? Is so nice job of rebounding and beating them the second go round. I think there is going to be the same results on Thursday Night as well. Its tough to beat a team twice in one year especially in the Frosh level. How does Dale say it "We are sooooo :mad:"

 

Doug's a class act and a very good coach I am sure. Congrats to both the CC and CHS boys. Seems to be good parity in Frosh Football this year. I am hearing that the Birds will have several fans on hand tomorrow night, should be a Dandy.

What are some of the names to be looking for next yr at SK from this freshman team?

Cory Crane would be 1 .Good running back and linebacker .Good size and speed mix .

Crane will probably see time at linebacker but I would be surprised to see him getting a bunch of carries over Simpson and Dewalt, the two returning starters.

So Simpson and Dewalt are better at RB ? I was in the understanding that Crane was leading the parade until his injury ,but I did not see them play .

They were talking about next year, meaning that he would no longer be a freshman.

Just jumped in, so I don't know if you are talking about M. Simpson from SK...., if so... If I could screw my kid's head on Simpson's body... he would be playing D1 next year. Simpson is a physical stud, lets see how well he takes a hit. Not a knock, but as a kid (NKYFL) he did not like getting hit. But, he did put big hits on the defense... my bet for the next level... DB.
