The Beechwood freshman have several studs I hear this year.

7 - QB/LB

26 I think - RB/DB

30- FB/LB

 

The new look in the 2nd half was very nice . # 11 Colosimo moved to QB ,#7 Larimore to end ( after running the ball a time or 2 ) ,and #30 Studer and #28 Leeke (scored 3 tds in game )ran well in the 2nd half mixed with good passing .Larimore made a great catch to score a td .

Newport seemed to have more kids than the last time we played .The rbs picked up the blitz very well to give qb time to throw .

Heard that the Frosh title game vs. SK is still up for grabs. Not sure what the scenarios are but I do know it may get decided by a coin toss. I dont know about the other teams but that pretty much sums up HHS Frosh team this year. A COIN TOSS.

You are correct Sweeperboy. If SK beats Cov Cath this week and Highlands and Campbell County both win, there will be a 3 way tie and a coin toss will decide who play in the title game. If Cov Cath beats SK then they will play in the title game.

You'd think they would use the "total pts. allowed" (since defense wins championships) or "total pts. scored" to break ties...not a coin toss.

It should NEVER be total pts scored. You'd have people running it up big time. Total pts allowed is the way to go, IMO...

I look for a low-scoring game. While its dangerous to use comparative scores, both teams beat Conner by 1 in a very low-scoring game.

Highlands plays Conner on Thurs at 6:00 pm at Conner. Dont know who CC plays.

SK is a very good team. Really nice defense and a strong running game. Judging from scores I've seen CCH has a chance but it's going to be a tough road, particularly with SK staring at an undefeated season.

Will the running back from SK continue to play? He didn't look to good against HHS.

 

To clarify that, he ran the ball REALLY well but he looked pretty gimpy. The BGP phrase is 'gamer'...

I'm not sure all the district games are done but I think they are. Someone can help with the unknown, and I am not sure these are correct.
