I don’t know how the rest of you feel, but BGP just isn’t the same without BF posting on here. In fact, it’s been a bit boring without him. I hope he decides to come back soon; I really miss his humor and his insight.

I agree whole heartedly. Birdsfan brings so much fun to BGP. He is by far the most loved poster on here, and I hope to see him back on here up to his old tricks very soon.

Birdsfan is the man...I don't talk to him as much on here lately as I used too...but he is a very awesome dude!

OK, I specifically didn't want to make a big flowery post about leaving and all that sorta thing. So, as usual, Run To State has to do the exact thing I asked him not to do. :lol:

 

Anyway, like Guru said, I'm really not "gone." I'm just taking some time off of posting. But I still haven't been able to force myself to not check in here every day -- I like BGP way too much. I do have a lot on my plate at the moment. I'm not sick or having problems -- it's really all good things. But I need to focus on those things for now. So this re-focusing of my priorities, combined with the fact that I was starting to show signs of being burned out, led me to this little "vacation."

 

Thanks so much for all the nice things you all have said in here and in the PMs that I've gotten recently. You guys are family, and I could never just "leave." But even family needs some away time now and then.

 

I promise I'll be back to posting (and Mod-ing) by the time football rolls around. And of course, I'll be reading whenever I get the chance to sneak a peak. But it definitely won't be easy to stay out of the fray -- especially with "The Reformation II" going on in P&R.
